thank you Costco.

Doing my grocery shopping this afternoon, Costo gave me the privilege of running into this lovely lady..... She is currently in the Guiness Book of World Records for having the grossest fuzziest fro hair! Can you believe it! You'd think they would have noticed her nails...
Yeah just kidding, it's for her nails. Can I say ew? Ew. ew. ew. ew. ew.
She was doing some shopping with her lady friend who really should have owned the world record for the fuzziest fro hair. Hers was long black and curly, and walking past them her hair proved to be such a distraction that I didn't even notice this lady (Lee Redmond is her name). Even without the nails they were quite a pair with their matching velvet jogging suits. But I tried not to stare and I moved on with my shopping.
It wasn't until I was at the checkout line and I noticed a large commotion up front that I realized whose presence I had the privilege to be in. There she was posing for picture after picture with her adoring fans. And honestly, I was a little jelouse. What I would have given for a camera phone at that moment.
I spent the rest of my time in line with my new friends (I'm sure you're familiar with how peculiar situations suddenly turn everyone around you into friends so you can talk about it) wondering about how she functioned. How does she do her hair? How does she itch herself? How does she pick her nose? How does she even get dressed?!
I'm guessing that her crazy jogging suit friend helps her out. Gee I wish I had a picture of her.
And thats my adventure for today! Hope you enjoyed!

What a waste of life! I can just see the thought process... hmm...what is the best way to totally incapacitate myself so people will be so disgusted they'll be forced to take pictures... hmm...

I had the honor of meeting her about 10 years ago at the Orem Summer Fest car show. she was super nice and posed for pictures with me and my siblings and showed us how she used tweezers to get money out of her back pocket...so strange!

Rach, oh my gosh, I saw her too when I worked at Seagull Book (of all places!)... that's so funny!! Isn't it awkward and strange and hilarious and surreal?? Ha, I love those times. Thank goodness for Costco.
